Through some eyes things have gotten better
But through these eyes events can't be severed
After closing this window I still feel the same
For the damage you've done you should ashamed
Blind contempt met with diluted disdain
Looking from a distance at what remains
Have you truly changed do you push this away
To a colder place we ride away
Can you see what lies before you
Can you face today
To a colder place we ride away
Perfectly encapsulates the teenage experience. Finding this album while still young and in high school was the best decision I've made in quite awhile. charlesjr
It's unfortunate that Marietta disbanded, but they couldn't have ended on a better note. As it Were is a reflection into a lot of youths' struggle with both aging and losing friends to time, and that it's okay to feel those things, even if for a little while. Halfrican Jones
